We are excited to invite you to the first scientific meeting dedicated to Acid-Sensing Ion Channels! 


The meeting will provide you with the latest advances in the field of ASIC research and will provide a forum to exchange ideas and establish networks and collaborations.

The meeting will start on September 29 with a lunch at 12.30 pm, and with scientific sessions beginning at 2 pm. On October 1, the scientific program will end at 12.00 am, and there will be a common  lunch at 12.30.

Registration includes accommodation for two nights and full-board
 

Please note that the number of participants is limited. 

Participants are invited to submit abstracts of their work for poster or oral presentation. In addition to the talks by the invited speakers, further talks will be
selected from the submitted abstracts.

If you plan to arrive already on Sunday, September 28 2025, or to stay on Wednesday October 01 for one more night, please inform us in advance. 

Travel information

By plane
The closest airport is Munich Airport, which is approximately 75 km from Tutzing.

By train
Tutzing is regularly connected by public transport to Munich airport or Munich main station. The S6 Munich public transport line, as well as regional trains, connect Munich with Tutzing. 

 

You can check for railroad connections and book a train here.

 

It takes about 10 minutes to walk from Tutzing station to the Evangelische Akademie via Bahnhofstrasse, Hallberger Allee and Hauptstrasse.

By car
Coming from Munich, take the motorway A95 towards Garmisch-Partenkirchen with destination Starnberg. In Starnberg you either choose the state road at the lake's western shore in southern direction with destination Tutzing or you take the B2 federal road towards Weilheim with destination Traubing. In Traubing, you turn left and follow the signs guiding you to Tutzing. 

 

There is a limited number of free parking lots at the Evangelische Akademie.
